Some Family Fun

So I am going to be honest here and tell everyone who possibly reads this that this is a post I have been working on now for a couple of weeks. I would load the photos, type a little but just could never finish it because I have had some crazy things happening over here. I will leave all that for another post. This one is about the special fun I spent with some of my family at the beginning of the month. My Uncle Nathan (yes he is younger, the joys of being apart of a large family :D ) was Married to a wonderful lady, Megan, at the end of March and they held a reception out in Vanderhoof for those friends and family that could not make it to Cardston. It was so nice to see everyone again. Some of my family we haven't seen in years because of where we all live. It was also special to See my Grandma Brooks who was back from her Mission just in time for the wedding. There was a family dinner at the firehall in Vanderhoof on Friday, April 2nd and then the reception on the 3rd. Great fun was had by all and I am glad to have been able to be there to share in it all. Here are some of my favorite pics from those 2 days. Hope you enjoy. Congrats again to Nathan and Megan!

So here are some of the guys who decided to play a game that conquers the world.
In the photo there is Chris (Nat's friend and groomsman), Nathan, Mike, and Dan

Here is the Groom and world conqueror himself with one of his pieces staking his land.

The kids really got into the games too.

So Megan's Dad runs the firehall so he took all the kids and adults who wanted to join, on a tour of the trucks and equipment after the dinner. It was fun!

This is Megan and Her Maid of Honor checking out the thermal reader and the different colors between cold and hot.

What's a tour with out someone trying on the uniform! Have you ever seen a cuter Firefighter?

Tommy Loved checking out the trucks... I think he might have a career driving in the future.

This is Dallin's wife Sariah who is just a doll and their new little boy. He wasn't sure about some of the food mom was trying to get him to eat. What a sweetheart.

Some kids decided that they preferred to read a book instead of the noise of the horns blowing on the firetrucks. We all had fun though!
The next night was the reception which was more formal and open for everyone. Here are a couple of my favorites pics from that night.

I really wish we all got together more often. I really missed the few relatives that had to head back to the states before this reception. We love you all! Here's to hoping for a family reunion soon :)
